// about

Hi, I'm Thomas.

I started Ki-Tho in Kortrijk to help small businesses with the digital side of how they work. Not with one-off websites, but by looking at the whole picture: how you work, which tools you use and where things could be better.

I've worked in software for 9 years. First as a developer, then also as a Scrum Master and today as a Delivery Lead in an IT organisation. I never stopped writing code. I bring that mix of technology and organisation to every project.

I grew up bilingual in Dutch and French and speak fluent English. I work for businesses within a 35 minute drive of Kortrijk, including across the language border in Wallonia (Mouscron, Tournai).

My path

  1. Bachelor NMCT, Howest

I graduated in Kortrijk in 2017. A broad foundation: web and apps, frontend and backend, databases, networking, IoT and design.

  2. Software Developer

9 years, and still hands on with the code. I built 5 web apps and websites and maintain 7 today, for technicians, planners, drivers and rental admins. Together about 1,000 users in 12 countries. Since last year AI has been a regular part of how I work, always with review and tests. In the Belgian Angular community I joined the ng-be workshops and took third place in their competition in 2019.

  3. Scrum Master

4 years, alongside my work as a developer. Helping teams work together, plan and deliver faster. Certified Professional Scrum Master (PSM I) since 2020.

  4. Delivery Lead

For 3 years now, for 5 teams and about 40 people. I bring technology and strategy together, so projects actually get delivered. Coaching and mentoring people is part of that. I also lead the AI guild and drive the adoption and policy around AI. Outside my job I give guest lectures and talks for students and professionals.

How we work

  • One fixed set of tools for every project. That way we start faster and costs stay predictable.
  • You own your code. It lives in a repository in your name.
  • Every change is reviewed and tested before it goes live.
  • Handling your data safely is the baseline. I trained in security awareness with Phished Academy, up to gold level.

Our rules for AI

  • No customer data in AI tools.
  • No passwords or keys in prompts.
  • Code that AI helps write is still our responsibility.

What we build with

  • Angular
  • TypeScript
  • Supabase
  • Vercel
  • Cloudflare
  • Stripe
  • Sentry
  • PostHog
  • GitHub
